| Well, another year of suntans, burns and experiential learning has gone by. Once again interns have dispersed, either to their native lands or on to even more adventures. Students take with them memories, a few good friends, and maybe a couple more ideas about the world. The years come and go like the waves on a beach in El Salvador. More chapters are yet to be lived in these lives... - Student #481938428498766245 | | |
| Well the year of Discover 2006/2007 has ended and all of the students and the senior interns are scattered accross the globe at this moment working, planning and going after what God wants them to do. This years interns are busy at school getting ready for the fresh crop of students to arrive, planning another crazy year of busy fun, learning, stretching and relationships. I hope God continues to stretch you all where you are at and that you are all able to follow him into a future you probably never expected. God Bless you all! And have a wonderful year!

| Well we're all back to hitting the regular old grindstone. We have theology classes in the morning and homework the rest of the day which can be fun I guess if you look at it optimistically. Look at all we're learning! Theology will definetely be an interesting class, a lot of interesting discussion could come off of this..well hopefully:D Well I hope everyone has a good night!

| Well in the last week we have been to El Salvador, Guatemala, the United States and Canada so I would say we've travelled around a little bit lately:D Now we're back in the land of eternal winter! It was freezing and snowning when we left and its the same now that we're back. Someone get us out of this wardrobe!!!
The culture changes that have occured in the past while are rather drastic, it is definitely a bit of a shock to be back in the North American culture which is evident from the way most of us are reacting to a lot of the changes. When we were down in Guatemala we tried to immerse ourselves in the culture as much as possible as we did ministry and lived down there, so coming back feeling like we should fit into our own culture easily and normally isn't the way it usually works.
I don't really know how to put a lot of what went on into consensed form so I'll think about it and hope someone else has better luck than me:D

| Good idea, Kyle... Let's update the xanga! ummmm... we're debriefing now (as in I'm sitting in class, but don't worry it's a break). Last night we had a last minute assignment--write the entire story of your life (it feels like). We were assigned this around 7 last night and it was due by 8 this morning. Needless to say, I'm sleepy. julie | | |
